Tea is a personal journey! Play with temperatures and steeping times to find your sweet spot. Hotter water? Bolder taste! Longer steep? Stronger brew! Embrace your inner Tea Master and create your perfect cup. TOP TIP - if you find the tea bitter and astringent, lower the water temperature.
Loose Leaf:
1 Tsp (2-3g) per cup - Water temperature 90°C / 194°F. Place tea into an infuser. Do not pour boiling water directly onto the tea, this can scorch delicate Oolong teas. First, warm the cup or teapot with a swirl of boiling water and discard. Pour hot water into the cup and then place your infuser with your tea inside into the hot water.
Steeping time 3-5min depending on taste. Many Oolong teas can be steeped multiple times, experiment to find what you enjoy best!
Tea Bag:
1 Tea Bag per cup - Water temperature 90°C / 194°F. Warm your cup by putting some hot water in first, then discard. Do not pour boiling water directly onto your tea bag as this can scorch delicate Oolong teas.
Steeping time 3-5min depending on taste.
Keep your tea in a cool, dry place, and it will reward you with years of delicious enjoyment.
